S.T.E.M. is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Math. As an educational workshop, we at Mechbuilder want to incorporate the fun aspects of learning which is "playing".

Children learn faster the hard concepts such as engineering or logic by feeling things in their hands, and engaging their hearts and mind in an exercise project of the many different ways an inanimate object with gears, motors, and sensors can move, and ultimately by design or discovery find its purpose in the world.

We use LEGO brick elements because LEGO can easily be disassembled or put together without using glues or screws thus freeing the child's mind from mundane tasks and focusing instead on creating and learning.
